Does it work inside any program?
Yes. It works on the screen rather than inside one specific app: browser, PDF, spreadsheet, video call, internal system, game. If it showed up on screen, you can select it.
Do I need an AI key?
For translation and summaries, yes — OpenAI, OpenRouter or a local model. Capture, drawing and Screenshot Studio work with no key at all.
Can you read what I translate?
No. Your selection leaves your machine straight for the provider you configured, using your key. It never passes through our servers, is never stored and trains no model.
Which languages does it handle?
The source language is detected automatically — Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, German, English and friends. The target is whichever language you pick in settings.
