How do you translate a social media screenshot?
If the screenshot is on your phone, Google Lens handles it for free and accurately. If it is on your PC — a capture someone sent you, a post open in a desktop app, a thread you want to archive — the route is a screen-reading tool, because for all practical purposes the post text is an image.

Does it handle Arabic and Hebrew posts correctly?
Recognition works, but text direction tends to be every tool's weak point: reversed lines and misplaced punctuation are common. Check before forwarding it as an exact quote.
Does it translate text inside videos and stories?
Only if it is still on screen at capture time. Fast-moving subtitles are a continuous-overlay case, not an on-demand capture one.
Can I repost the translated screenshot?
Translation does not erase copyright or context. For personal use and private forwarding, fine; to publish, credit the source and remember that a wrong machine translation becomes misinformation with your name on it.
Does it handle slang and internet abbreviations?
